My Williams-Sonoma Experience

One of the neat things about visiting a larger city is that you can oftentimes visit several stores you've been slightly curious about without making too much of an effort.  Recently I visited a newly constructed shopping center with a lot of the popular stores.  They were indeed a perfect combination of stores.  One of those stores was Williams-Sonoma.

First off, do you know how much I love housewares?!  Everywhere my eye landed, I imagined a chef I had seen using this particular utensil or that particular pan.  It was a joy just to see collection sets, and colors, and textures.  And, oh, the aroma that wafted in from corner to corner.  I will tell you that I fell in love with the Meyer Lemon hand soap and lotion.

If you truly love to cook or even the idea of cooking, this is the type store you might wish to visit on occasion.

Have you ever visited Williams-Sonoma?  How did you like it?

  1. That is why I stay away from those stores!!! I would buy one of everything you showed... sigh. and no doubt would be selling it at a yard sale in less than 2 years because I have no space for it. LOL!

  2. I love browsing in that store also. About the only thing I will buy there because of prices is their cotton dishtowels when they go on sale. Love them! They are absolutely the best. :) Love the Meyer Lemon also. :)

  3. I do like W-S, but it is pricey. I have a great flat whisk I got there, only place I ever saw one. I once took a turkey cooking class at W-S. That was fun.

  4. I love painted ball jars. I love the different colors. Great feature. Williams-Sonoma is pretty and nice, but not exactly my style. I'll stick to my thrifting and if I find some there, BINGO for me! Thanks for visiting and commenting. You are a doll!

  5. I love looking in any housewares store! (Although looking and dreaming is about all I can do) I love the smells in Williams Sonoma too!
