I Never Knew Tea Could Taste This Good...

Yes, I love a good cup of tea.  No, I didn't realize that there are several components of making said cup of tea.

At some point I learned about steeping teas for certain amounts of time.  That solved the mystery of why some of my oolong teas had a bitter aftertaste, which I dislike.

Then I was watching a video on Youtube where the owner of the channel was displaying her tea collection, when I noticed a new gadget on her counter....a Cuisinart Tea Kettle.  Oh my!  Apparently this tea kettle had 6 preset temps which steeped the water to a certain temperature based on the type of tea being used.  Say what!?

Why had I not heard of this.  Immediately I started looking online.  The price was not a pretty picture, but it kept annoying me until eventually I convinced myself that I was worthy of such a purchase.  Then one day last week I saw this kettle discounted at Nomorerack.com for 40% lower than the retail value.  So what if it was manufacture refurbished.  I didn't hesitate to purchase it.

It arrived on yesterday and I decided to retry some tea I had received in a tea swap.  Teavana's Youthberry tea.  Let's just say, that tea never tasted so delicious.

Ummm tea,

  5. That is a nice looking kettle! Glad you were able to find it for a lower cost! I drink herbal tea (bags) daily, but the only thing that comes close to loose leaf tea around here is my mint that I grow and use. Your tea looks wonderful!
