Making His Mark Into the World, Ten Little Toes at a Time

Recently I was able to photograph my friends' newborn baby boy.  What initially started out as a maternity shoot, overnight became a newborn session instead.  It's amazing how those things work.  I will say that my experience is not with photographing babies, but I am continually intrigued by the many facets of the photography world.

IMO, babies are the most amazing creations.  They fascinate me.  Throughout the session, I wondered, what is this little guy thinking when he stretches this way or that or when he gazes into his momma's and daddy's eyes?  There are not enough words.

I enjoyed working with this family of friends and can't wait for upcoming sessions with the little guy, a bundle of cuteness.  I'm just glad he allowed me into his little world.

p.s.  Because of this session I actually thought that if I decide to pick up those crochet hooks again, I might just make my own photography props.  We shall see.  (Recognize my blanket?  It's about time it got some use.)

To cuteness,
