Final Summer 2013 Garden Update

It was a wonderful experience.  It was a learning experience.  It was fun.  It was challenging.  It is over.  :-)

Saturday I harvested everything that made it.  Then I pulled up all of my plants besides the marigolds that are continuing to thrive and the rosemary plant from 2 years ago that's just determined to live no matter what I do or don't do and no matter where I move it to.  lol

This is the final basket of tomatoes.  All tomatoes are nicely lining my kitchen windows.

Happy Monday,

  1. It surely was a trial and error kind of garden this year. I loved sharing bits with you about how to get things to work. It was fun!

  4. The tomatoes looks wonderful. So many too! The rosemary comment cracked me up. Jim has the same problem with mint in his yard!

  6. You did good! That's a whole lot of tomatoes. I have green tomatoes still on the vine. It wasn't a good year for me and I started very late. Waiting until the last minute to remove them. Like you, I will put them on the windowsill to ripen.
