Designed with the Homeschool Teacher in Mind: Helpful Tips 101

Although I am a product of the public school system and have chosen to teach there as well, I am very aware of the increasing popularity of homeschooling.  Parents have their personal reasons for choosing this route of education.  I believe that there are different advantages and challenges that face homeschooling families.  My goal today is to share some resources that I've found that may be beneficial to parent-readers who homeschool.  Let's get started!

Notice I didn't include links about specific curriculum ideas and that's because I feel that if parents choose the homeschool option, then they have a rationale that best suits their family needs.  Choosing the curriculum is extremely personal, and I respect that.
...and now a little homeschool comic:

I know I have a lot of homeschooling parent-readers.  Any specific suggestions on how homeschooling works in your home?  Tips or suggestions for new homeschooling parents?  Feel free to share in the comment section below.

  2. You have been one busy person pulling all these links together. Some are ones we've known about and some are totally new. Definitely going to look into them more when things are quiet. Thanks again Libby!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Bloggy comments make me smile and responding via email makes me smile even more. Due to spam concerns, posting anonymously has been removed as an option.

If you would like for me to respond to your comment(s), you must not have a no-reply blogger status. To fix that, simply add an email address in your profile and voila, I'll be able to write you back. :-)
