...The Garden Girl

Meet Patti Moreno...

Maybe I'm the last one to find out.  Maybe it's because I have the most minimal cable package ever.  So minimal that I'm not even sure if it's called a "package".  But at any rate, I just discovered found out about Patti Moreno, the Garden Girl.  Apparently she's been around for a while, but perhaps in that time where I kept downsizing my cable which cut out HGTV I missed her.  But thanks to Pinterest which led me to a gardening website that led me to her YouTube channel which led me to her website, I can now say I've "met" Patti and I'm so glad I did.

So what intrigues me about her show/site?  A big thumbs up for being a female gardener.  A huge thumbs up for making gardening work in an urban environment.  And so many helpful videos!  Now, if you've been following my blog, you know I'm a country girl, but I don't want any more garden than I can manage so learning more about what urban gardeners do satisfies my needs as well.

There are so many videos that I have to watch, but let me introduce you to a couple of ones that I've enjoyed thusfar.

What do you think?  Seriously, I love it when I stumble upon a good YouTube channel.  Sometimes I put in my earbuds and watch the videos from that channel as if I were t.v.  And this is one of those channels.  Thanks, Patti for making sustainable living that much more appealing through your videos!  And congrats on your new book.  :-)

  1. I had to laugh at this because I now have the most minimal amount of channels too! My cable company recently downgaded me and I would have to pick up a new box to get my other channels back. I barely watch tv so I kept it as is. So I know what it is like to miss certain channels! YouTube is great!!! Jim watches television shows when he is at work.
