Asparagus Tart {Recipe}

On my last trip to Aldi's, the one where I bought the specialty cheeses for this dish, I also found a really nice bag of asparagus for less than $2.50, so I bought it, not even knowing how to cook it or what I would do with it.  And thanks to Pinterest, I stumbled upon Martha Stewart's recipe for an Asparagus Gruyere Tart.  My only modification was that I didn't use gruyere cheese, as the recipe suggested; but rather, I used the rest of the Asiago cheese I purchased from Aldi's.

 Puff pastry, rolled...
 trimmed,
 and then baked.
 Topped with copious amounts of grated Asiago + Parmesean cheeses,
 Layered with asparagus spears
 that have been brushed with olive oil
 and sprinkled with salt and black pepper.
 Into the oven it goes...
to be baked until the spears are all tender
 and the cheese is all yummy.

Bon Appetit,
