Meet Lawrence.

AE:  Who are you and what is it that you do/make?
LJL:  My name is Lawrence.  I'm a blogger, graphic designer, jewelry artist, and hobbyist photographer.

AE:  How did you get started/What is the motivation behind your work?
LJLI started with beadwork maybe with I was in high school, using regular large beads & gemstones to create statement necklaces.  I stopped mostly because I ended up keeping them for myself and didn't have money to reinvest into that hobby.  A few years ago I started teaching myself beadweaving.  I really became fascinated by the act of building something from a little tiny bead.  So, I've been engrossed in that and have been actively attending craft shows in an effort to put them out there and make a sustainable living from this love (imagine that).  I'm still learning and will do so indefinitely.  I take my own photos, my sister acts as my model.

AE:  Where can we find your work?
LJLMy work can be found at www.beyouteous.etsy.com or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/beyouteous. Additionally, I have some photos on www.behance.net/girlfromhaiti.  I also founded & blog at www.cookmixmingle.com.

AE:  What is your website/contact information?
Lawrence is an amazingly talented artist.  Be sure to check out her sites to see more of her creations.  I hope that you are inspired by this interview with this artist as much as I am.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Bloggy comments make me smile and responding via email makes me smile even more. Due to spam concerns, posting anonymously has been removed as an option.

If you would like for me to respond to your comment(s), you must not have a no-reply blogger status. To fix that, simply add an email address in your profile and voila, I'll be able to write you back. :-)
