So what is SlimKicker and what does it have to offer? As mentioned before, SlimKicker is a fitness app, but what I love about it, is that it is incentive-based. As an educator, I have a deep appreciation and understanding of how incentives work.
When you first enroll in SlimKicker, you decide what your fitness/weight loss goals are this program helps you to reach them by giving you points. You can achieve points by logging in your food choices, participating in challenges, and exercising. In order to proceed to the next level, you must obtain a certain amount of points and then you can treat yourself with the incentive of your choice.
As noted here, you can see that I am on Level 3 of this program and when I reach my goal, I can treat myself with a bookcase from IKEA. SlimKicker provides incentive choices or you can upload a photo of your own choice.
You can also see that I have participated in 5 Challenges so far. There are so many challenge options like "A Salad a Day" or "No Snacks After Dinner" or you can make up your own.
In addition to these incentives, if you so choose, you can participate in groups with like minded people who are there to encourage and support you. And the best thing is, it's FREE!
