3KCBWDAY5 - Something a Bit Different - Day 5

So today's challenge for Knitting and Crochet Blog Week is to find a new way of blogging.  Not having a lot of time this evening and a craft show on tomorrow, I decided to do a vlog - my very first.  Don't judge me too harshly on my lack of using a tripod and being without lipgloss (it's amazing what you notice about yourself on video that you might not have caught in the bathroom mirror).  This video was made in one take and no editing has been done.  And yes, I did say it was 2010. ??? Let's just blame that on tiredness and the sweltering heat.  lol

If you think this post deserves a nomination for being creative, then nominations can be made here.

Happy Friday and Happy Crafting,

  3. Those prints are awesome!!! And I love the room! That lime green is so energetic. I think you'll get a lot of crafting done there. Love that light switch cover too! It's beautiful how you integrated another artist's work in your space. Have fun at the show tomorrow!!

  6. Oh this is amazing! I am almost crying of joy. Listen to this, you are going to laugh out loud: I DO understand you! :-D So, when we meet, I think there won't be need for a notepad to "talk". You have a very sweet voice and speak so clearly. You must be the best teacher ever!
Now, off to see the remaining 5:00 mins of video -- yes, I had to pause it to write this.

    1. Oh my shawl! *blushes* Love your green walls. Don't they make you happy when you look at them? I hope I had space for a crafting room and some natural light -- I just have a tiny crowded corner in my bedroom to store yarn.
Your vlog was so cool! Will you be recording some more?

    2. I dream that one day we will be talking our heads off to each other. lol Actually, this morning I woke up saying aloud, "Tenga un buen fin de la semana". For what purpose? Ahh, who knows. Maybe it's because a parent greeted me in Spanish on yesterday and I realized how much I have not practiced. Anyhoo, I think I may make some more videos in time. Baby steps. Thanks for subscribing. That was a big surprise!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Bloggy comments make me smile and responding via email makes me smile even more. Due to spam concerns, posting anonymously has been removed as an option.

If you would like for me to respond to your comment(s), you must not have a no-reply blogger status. To fix that, simply add an email address in your profile and voila, I'll be able to write you back. :-)
