Today, I slept in. Maybe it was because I've been kinda tired lately. Maybe because I took some cough medicine at 4 a.m. The kind of cough medicine that makes you super sleepy. Maybe, all of the above.
But, despite the really late start to the day, I finally got to do something I've been missing for a while. I spent the remainder of the afternoon and early evening with one friend and then the rest of the evening with another. Life happens and sometimes that means that you neglect to make time for people you really enjoy spending time with. So, I had to play catch up.
Friend #1 prepared an amazing lunch. I told her about my 20/20 challenge so she decided to prepare fish so I could have lunch with her. How sweet! This was our lunch:

Afterwards, we called ourselves "previewing" the Zumba dvds, but we ended up convincing ourselves that we could do this. What really happened was that we made it through the intro and learned all the basic steps, then we proceeded to last for maybe 8 minutes of the true 20-minute workout. We were all sweaty, but had so much fun. I've been wanting to try Zumba for a while now and have been planning to attend some classes when the instructor gets back from maternity leave.

So after I managed to recover from the Zumba lesson, I stopped at Friend #2's house. She spotted this amazing, amazing item for me (details later; you have to wait) and I went to pick it up. One fabulous cup of coffee later, being read to by a 6-year old, entertained by a 2-year old, and playing with a 5-month old, it was time to call it a night.
