What a Day!

So many little, wonderful things happened to me today after work that I just had to share:

So last night I was working on the spidey blanket and ran out of yarn on the very last row.  Today after work, I stop by Wal-Mart and they have one last, lonely skein of this grey heather yarn haphazardly thrown on top of other skeins, not of this line.  So the last, lonely skein was obviously waiting for me.  :-D

Then I walked to the clearance aisle of this same store and low and behold, I find two Mrs. Meyer's products (my absolute favorite cleaning agents).  Since when were they ever in Wal-Mart?

So I finally drive towards home and decide to stop at the post office.  A lady, just leaving out of the post office, comes up to me and asks if I would like this magazine that she keeps getting in her box.  I know she probably asked because I'm a person of "color" and this particular magazine highlights people of "color", but hey, it's a free magazine that I would love to read.  So to that stranger lady, I say, "Thank You!"

Finally I go inside of the post office and check to see if my package has arrived and it did.  So now I have some notecards to put into my shop.  So what if Snapfish snapped their logo on the back of my cards.  I'll fix that.

And then I thought, it would be really grande if I received a call back from the local home improvement store for an appliance I ordered.  So when I got in the house, I checked the machine, and YES, they had called.  My appliance is here (more about that later).  So, it has been an unusually wonderful "after work" experience today.  Needless to say, I'm all smiles.  :-D

  2. Wonderful day! If only a little something were waiting for you at the post office too...! But I guess it decided to wait so you can have two smiling days instead of one. :-)

ps. I'm off to the doctors again. I'm so tired of them!
