the Campbell House. I was so grateful to be able to participate with them at a moment's notice. Many thanks goes out to the gals at Quick Stop Picture Framing for literally making this happen for me days before the deadline and for club member June who hand delivered my piece since I was unavailable at the drop off time.
The Campbell House houses the Arts Council of Moore County. It is a work of art in and of itself.
There were 90 photographs on exhibit and the variety of skills, subjects, techniques was just breath taking. I was glad that my parents were able to attend as well as a couple of friends from work to see these great works.
I don't know if my piece will sell, but for me it was just a pleasure to be able to participate. I look forward to learning more and experiencing more with this club.
Afterwards, my parents and I went to dinner and although my point and shoot camera is literally on the fritz, I was able to capture my Mom's meal. :-D
For those of you in the U.S., I hope you enjoy your Labor Day weekend!
