Stash-Busting Dilemma

Stash-busting is great.  But, there comes a time when you are at a crossroads.  You have lots of beautiful yarns, but not enough of any of them to make what you want at that moment.  So, you look at them and rethink.  Do I go for the granny?  Try another ripple?  Resort to making hats?  Or perhaps a multi-colored scarf?  Or do you find a loop hole in the "yarn diet" and return some single skeins in exchange for more of the color you need?  Aha!!!  :-)

p.s.  In the meantime, I'm going to start another ripple.  :-)

  1. I know what you mean. At the moment, I have many beautiful skins, but only 2 of each colour/yarn and they don't match. I refuse to make another scarf!

Lucky you who has found a loophole in the rules!

  2. Love those loopholes, as long as they are legal and all. LOL!!!!! Go for it Libby! I'm right behind you all the way. :)

  3. Amiguri is a great way to use those single skeins and leftover yarn too. ;o)
