Almond Season

Today I dropped in on our local Seaboard Festival to give a potter some pictures I had taken of him at last year's festival.  One I really enjoyed of his hands against the clay as he began a new piece.  I gave him that one too.  That one I also plan to put in the shop.  After showing him the pics (you know his hands were full of clay so he wouldn't touch them), I reached to hand him the envelope of pictures and he gave me....a piece of his pottery!

All ecstatic, I came home and began sorting some of the prints that I plan to list soon.

Here's the first of the bunch:

This 5x7 print (without the watermark, of course) is professionally printed on Kodak Metallic Endura Paper, so it is guaranteed to last between 100-200 years!  Well, not including acts of nature.  :-)  The coppery metallic pearlescent finish really makes the image pop.

Have a great weekend, and don't forget to set your clocks back an hour if you live in the U.S. that is.  Whohoo, an extra hour of sleep!

  1. Exchanging your goodies for pottery? How cool! I wonder if anyone in their right mind would exchange my crochet for anything. lol

That is a beautiful shot of almonds, I feel like I can touch crack them. :-)

Enjoy your extra hour (I did it last weekend).

  2. Not a bad trade if you ask me. I love handmade pottery.

I loved that extra hour of sleep! And the girls woke up after me! Love that even more. Trick or treating wore them out.
