455 + 7

Graduation was amazing. I haven't been to a high school graduation at my high school since I graduated there in '94. I was so glad to go because I had the opportunity to see my entire 5th grade class from that year graduate. As they walked around the stadium, just one of the 455 graduating seniors (plus 7 exchange students), I hollered out there name and waved.

I sat with Ismael's family and took as many pictures as I could. You could see the pride and joy on their faces to see their first born son graduate.

It's been a long day and I'm going to call it a night!

Good night! Bonne Nuit! Buenas Noches! Boa Noite!

  1. I'm so glad to hear you had a good time.

  2. Sad but happy and tired.. the best way to get some sleep, lol! glad you had such a great time... hey, did you notice that we all changed the look of our blogs a bit? what's with it?

  3. Congrats to the class of 09!

They grow up so fast, I sobbed at my youngest high school graduation last year. My son was born with some physical and neurological disabilites and I was told that he would never go any further than that of an 10 years that he would excel past that of a 4th grader. I never gave up, fought every step of the way and in the end he graduated at 20 but in the top 10% and received 3 academic awards and two scholarships. So, I know how proud you were feeling.

Lib I can't tell you how wonderful your knit project looks, you picked it up quickly!

It is on my to do list but I have so many projects to finish before I can start another....!!!!

    Have a great weekend!
