The Color Orange and The Color Purple Pt. II

So today was the day of the play. I accompanied my friends Mary and Andrew to see "The Color Purple." It was fantastic and I had a wonderful time with them. To see more of the day's events, click here.

I brought my crochet bag with me and I even snuck some yarn and hooks in my purse in case we had to wait in the theater and I felt the need to crochet. I didn't. In fact, I didn't do much crocheting in the car because the conversation was so great. But, I did manage to finish the orange and pink flower which was all I needed to finish Summer's hat. She wanted an orange and pink hat and that's what she's getting:

Isn't this such a firey orange?

  1. so nice to know that you had a good time!
the orange hat looks great, I'm sure it will be appreciated!

  2. Glad to hear the musical and the outing went well. I'm also glad to hear that I'm not the only one not able to use chopsticks. Forks are good. :)

I love the flower on the hat. It really makes the whole project look wonderful. :)

  3. What a great hat! I love the color & the flower!
