Suggestions Welcomed
These are the skeins of Vanna Baby yarn that I purchased blindly online. The colors are lamb (off white), bluebell, pink poodle, duckie, and sweet pea. I actually have two skeins of lamb, but since I'd started using it, I didn't put it in the picture.
It's a thick yarn, but the colors are so spring-like. I'm open for suggestions on something I can make out of these yarns that won't make me regret this purchase. Remember, I am a crocheter. I do not knit. :-)
Have a great weekend!
Libby those colors are so pretty! I think you should make a granny blanket with them. That would be such a pretty baby blanket if you needed to make one. Just one big granny square blanket. Now my wheels are turning with ideas! :) Thanks for being long winded. I love to chat. :)
ReplyDeleteI am thinking Hexie Blanket. I got the pattern from Kar and it is working up quite nicely in similar colors (you can see them, and my slow progress, on my blog.) Can't wait to see what you come up with. Have a great day! Liz
ReplyDeleteI agree: a blanket! You have the perfect colours. I don't know which pattern I would recommend you, maybe the one Kar said because is easy and the colours will show prettily :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to second the comment made on your Flickr page and recommend a ripple afghan. They're really pretty and simple (now where did I put that pattern). This time of year, there's not such a call for hats. I've been experimenting with headbands, though. They're pretty fun.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all your friends suggestions...but if I have these yarn..I'll make a bedspreads for our bedroom...:))
