Home For the Day

A cold front came through yesterday and it snowed last night. As a result, school was canceled and I spent the day indoors. After working hard for the morning hours, I treated myself to my crochet hook and some yarn. I made two head-hugger caps. When I got the pattern off of the yarn section in Wal-Mart, it looked more like a beenie cap in the picture, but it actuality it's a cross between the beenie and a tam. I enjoyed working on them. I think I'll probably make one more and then make a true beenie cap in something spring-like.

  1. these hats look really cool!

I'm doing good, not procrastinating as much as yesterday, but still don't think I have too much energy, it's weird...

How about you? Do you enjoy the cold weather?
