Purple Coin Purse

Today (well on Monday the 19th) I was off from work, but I had a ton of things to do. The first thing I did was make a To-Do list because that helps me stay motivated when I have a bunch of tasks. It felt good to check things off that list.

I promised myself that if I did everything that was mandatory and finished cleaning and worked on my taxes some then I could crochet something small. So I did. I know it's late and I should be fast asleep, but I had to post my very first coin purse.

I made this purse out of some scrap Homespun yarn. I found a stray wooden button in my sewing kit so I decided that the coin purse would be my item for today.

It was really simple and I can already think of ways to improve and embellish this simple design, but for now, here is my coin purse and I'm off to bed!

  1. It's funny that we both talked about our to-do lists. :o)
I always have to make a list, or else I will completely forget what I was supposed to do...
the funny part is that I forgot to add to my list "buy cocoa butter" (to prevent stretch marks) and then at night, when my husband was going to rub my belly, he asked me "did you buy the lotion?" and I was like "ooooops..."

I like your coin purse, by the way.
I'm a goof ball like that.
