Continuing with Yesterday's Goal

Yesterday I aimed to get in bed before midnight. I will admit that I was in my room, but I didn't really go to sleep then. The instructions were (I don't know if I mentioned that one of my co-workers and I are setting this same goal) to be in bed before midnight, lights out, the t.v. can be on if you're listening to the last few minutes of something - then it too must go off, and you can't be doing anything like reading, crocheting (in my case); just relaxing and ready to doze off. Honestly I couldn't fight that urge to crochet a little sample piece and that's one of the reasons I didn't make my goal completely. The other reason was that after I got home from work, I took a 45 minute nap. Any nap for me, no matter how short it is, usually disrupts my night sleeping.

So today I set the same goal. In bed, ready for sleep by midnight. I really believe that it will work out this time. I've finished my work, I crocheted a little piece of a scarf for this traveling scarf project I'm involved in, and I'm now crocheting a piece of a scarf that I will complete. Clothes have been picked out for work and lunch for tomorrow has been made. I even drank some Sleepytime Tea.

I'll have to let you know how it goes...

  2. I think I need more consecutive days of it. I need to eat more and exercise too. So, it's a work in progress (hence the name of my blog - El Viaje.) lol
