After I tasted a bit of my granola bars, I made two suggestions for myself:
1. Put the batter in a smaller pan to make a thicker bar.
2. Cool for longer and remove the granola from the pan before cutting. Maybe then I can get perfect bars without so many broken pieces.
I was looking at Heidi Swanson's site tonight and decided to see if she had a granola bar recipe. Of course she did! Check out the movie below:
I think I'll give this one a try too some time later.
